The occipital condyle is a large ball-shaped joint at the back of the skull where the neck vertebrae attached the triceratops' massive head to its body, with strong muscles adding additional strength and allowing head movement. This Occipital brain case showcases the foramen magnum where the brainstem, spinal cord and other major arteries pass through to the brain. The basioccipital and cranial nerve fenestrate are also present.
This specimen contains crackfill and minor restoration. Powdercoated display stand included. Measures 10.5"X8.3"X12" on stand
